RIO SUL disclaims any liability for any direct, indirect and/or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use the materials contained on this Site, and does not control or is responsible for any illegal, offensive or defamatory conduct of its users.

All products sold online comply with Portuguese legislation.

Rio Sul declines any responsibility in case of violation of the legislation of the country where the order is delivered. It is up to the Customer to check with the local authorities the conditions for importing or using the products they wish to order.

Furthermore, it is not responsible for losses resulting from interference, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily prevent access, navigation or the provision of services to Users.

The personal data processed at www.riosul.pt, in the RIO SUL showroom and at fairs are:

• Collected in customer/user registration: Name, Shipping and billing postal address, Cell phone, Telephone, CPF, Email address;
• Obtained through browsing the website: data that identifies the IP address, reference headers, device type, browser and version, login and account information, including username, password, preferences regarding marketing and cookies, web beacons and tags (pixel), payment or credit card information, in this case, always observing the SSL protocol;
• Preferences including wish list, purchase history;
• Social media information, including credentials and any information from your shareable social profile, suggestions from friends or family.

Why do we need your information? RIO SUL will process your personal data, manually and/or automatically, for the following purposes:

• Customer management: The data collected by RIO SUL is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the purchase and sale contract and is intended for processing and providing information on the status of orders and communication with Customers, processing requests for information and any complaints. Providing the information requested as part of the Customer's registration is mandatory, without which it is not possible to proceed with the above purposes.
• Marketing: If the Customer gives their express consent at the time of creating or changing their registration, RIO SUL may process their data to send them information about its products, news, campaigns, offers and birthday messages, through any communication channel, namely through the use of postal mail, e-mail, SMS or other forms of automatic call. Consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes may be revoked at any time as follows: via the customer account settings; by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email; by contacting the Customer Service team via the email address clientes@riosul.pt.
• Profile definition: RIO SUL defines profiles based on information related to your purchases and searches. This information allows RIO SUL to send personalized information suited to your profile, with the aim of improving your shopping experience and in accordance with your consent.

By consenting to this Privacy Policy, you are giving permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified and selected.

If consent is legally necessary for the processing of personal data, the data subject has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time, although this right does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent previously given nor the subsequent processing of the same data, based on another legal basis, such as compliance with the contract or legal obligation to which RIO SUL is subject.
